Basically, prior filling out actual applications you have to,

1. Prepare for the LSAT
2. Register with the LSDAS, which is the big company with a monopoly on handing out your information to law schools. It is helpful in a sense, because you only have to send your transcrips and letters of recommendation to one place.
3. Take the LSAT
4. Decide where to apply. This might seem like a simple process, just apply to lots of places and see what sticks, but law schools charge nutty application fees. So if I apply to 10 schools that would cost well over $1000. This is on top of the $120 to register with LSDAS and $110 to take the LSAT.

We'll see how this goes.

The Best TV Shows of 2005

5. The Simpsons - 16 Seasons with the current season better than many of the previous ones.
4. Lost - I'd say that Lost is like a new Twin Peaks, but perhaps that's a bit of a slight to Lost. Lost has the potential to be better than Twin Peaks. It's touched on more topics than one would think possible of a show that bills itself as a one-hour action drama.
3. The Daily Show - I'd give The Daily Show a higher ranking if they didn't have such good material to work with. Otherwise, the writing is superb and I can see Jon Stewart as the heir to Letterman's hosting legacy.
2. House MD - Hugh Laurie's character is perhaps the best ever in a TV drama.
1. Arrested Development - This show is the ultimate post-modern comedy. This fact has been made even more apparent by Fox's decision to cancel it.

Letterman Destroys O'Reilly

David Letterman is a class act, no way around it. To those who might share such convictions, bah, I say. Might I direct your attention, fair readers, to the subtitle of this blog, "Who Are You To Ask Questions?"

I hope this clears things up, children.

Sketchy Tremblings Amongst the Kittens

There was an old man who lived in a blog. He had a lot of time on his hands. For that he was grateful, but he was not grateful for what the blog had made him into, a hulk of his former self, devoid of the aspirations that populated his youth like so many acorns fallen only to land underneath a dominant ancestor.

Why is the blog here and what does it want with me? He sat, contained in his quandary. That the blog was here was without question, he was within it. If he existed the blog must certainly exist as well. The blog did not interact with him, so inquiring about its motives towards him seems like the wrong angle of attack.

The truth is that the blog, much like some other constructs of this universe, does not think or feel and therefore possesses no concern for him, positive or negative. The blog doesn't care about you either, or your humble author for that matter. Not that that concerns me. I mean, this blog hasn't bothered me, so why should I bother it, asking questions designed only to challenge its governing principles. Some things are best left alone. And so we beat on.
